Contact store log files getting very big!

  • Under the install directory (normally c:\program files\witness\) there is a directory called “properties”
  • In there look for a file called “”
  • If not, create the file and put this line of text there:
  • log.level=WARN
  • Save and close file
  • Then reboot server or restart the ContactStore service and the log files should stop being an issue.
