Create Backup and Modify sample files
To preserve the original Files, I normally make a copy of the folders and make modifications to the copied versions.Shown below is the Branding – Information & Soft Key Folder containing the original folders and the copied version
- Cross.gif
- This is a animated file
- Manifest.xml
- this is the file that allows the package to be generated
- Info and Branding.pdf
- Simple instruction manual explaining how to modify the files
To Create Branding that contains a different Gif File ( or image file)-
- Create the Gif ( or image) , and adjust the xml file to match the name of the Gif( or image)-
- Remove the old version from the folderExample-
Example
- I have created a simple gif file ( called tie.gif) and saved it into the folder , removed cross.gif and edited themanifest.xml file ( changed cross.gif to tie.gif)-
- [NOTE: the manifest must be changed to read/write and the filenames are CASE sensitive]-
- To remove read only ( and allow editing)
Package the application Using the Toolkit Packager
If successful an spx.package and an InfoSoftKeybranding.spx file should have been created
Upload the file using the HTML Toolkit Uploader
