1]Enable the tracing
In maintenance, type, edt trace tsp l2l3
Example of response:
HDLC CC on link 5 trace enable .
HDLC VERBOSE on link 5 trace enable .
*note
– same command is used to turn tracing off, so make sure the correct response is received.
-the isdn traces are CPU intensive and it is recommended that you save the tracing to a logfile, rather than leaving it outputting to the maintenance window.
2]Saving to a logfile
In maintenance, type, “edt enable logtofile ”
Example of response:
ENABLE VDSU LOGTOFILE 7 1 2 1
ENABLE TSP LOGTOFILE 7 1 2 1
The file will be called LDS_trace.rtf, which can be retrieved by ftp’ing to the 3300 and can be found in the /db directory.
Get this file and send, along with ccs trace , if possible.
3]Stop tracing to logfile
In maintenance, type, “edt disable logtofile ”
Example of response:
DISABLE VDSU LOGTOFILE 7 1 2 1
DISABLE TSP LOGTOFILE 7 1 2 1
4]Disable the tracing
In maintenance, type, “edt trace tsp l2l3 ”
